Families and Residents are Reunited as Phoebe Re-Opens for Visitation!
Spring is arriving across Phoebe’s campuses, bringing flowers, warm weather, and visitors!
On March 12, the Pennsylvania Department of Health encouraged long-term care communities to open their doors to visitors once again.
Phoebe is excited to reunite families with their loved ones, as visits are now taking place at Phoebe campuses. Visitation hours are different at each campus, and are subject to change. Please see https://phoebe.org/newsroom/misc/phoebe-ministries-coronavirus-preparedness-plan/ to schedule a visit, read our visitation policy, and learn about closings.
Phoebe is actively following all processes put in place by the PA Department of Health and the PA Department of Human Services to ensure our residents and employees are kept safe. Safe infection-control protocols include practicing safe social distancing, hand washing, screening visitors for COVID-19, and mask-wearing.
If the resident is able and the weather is appropriate, visits are encouraged to take place outdoors. Otherwise, visits will take place in the resident’s room. Family members are also permitted to take residents to doctor visits as long as proper infection-control protocols are followed.
Phoebe would like to thank our families for their patience and understanding during the past several months. We are very excited to welcome everyone back to the neighborhoods! The residents are thrilled to see loved ones in person. With everyone’s help in adhering to infection-control protocols, Phoebe will be able to continue welcoming families and friends.
