Phoebe Ministries is thrilled to reveal the winners of the Rev. Dr. Grant Harrity Award and the William H. Hacker Business Spirit of Giving Award from this year’s Phoebe Institute on Aging (PIA) Gala!
The 2025 Rev. Dr. Grant Harrity Award for Exemplary Service to the Aging (presented to those who exemplify leadership, commitment, and service to the aging services field) has been awarded to Rev. Daniel T. Moser II in recognition of more than two decades of devoted leadership and faith-driven services.
Since joining the Phoebe Board of Trustees in 2001, Rev. Moser has provided steadfast leadership, serving as Board Chair, Secretary, and a member of multiple key committees. As Pastor of First United Church of Quakertown, he strengthened ties with the local community and helped shape Phoebe’s mission, vision, and values as a founding member of the Faith in Action Team.
Known for his warmth, humor, and dedication, Rev. Moser embodies faith-driven service and has left a lasting impact on Phoebe Ministries and the seniors we serve.
“Over the years, Phoebe Ministries has given me the opportunity to be of real service to older adults and their families,” says Rev. Moser. “It has been an honor and a privilege. Thank you for this award.”
The 2025 William H. Hacker Business Spirit of Giving Award (presented to businesses that demonstrate exceptional support of aging services through financial contributions, leadership engagement, volunteerism, and more) has been awarded to BLBB Advisors, LLC.
BLBB Advisors is recognized for their steadfast support of benevolent care and other vital programs for seniors. Beyond philanthropy, Managing Principal John Lawton and Managing Partner Brian Gallagher provide thoughtful leadership through their service on Phoebe’s Governing Board, the Wyncote Senior Affordable Housing Committee, and the Investment Committee. Their generosity and commitment reflect the true spirit of this award—uplifting others through leadership, care, and community.
“BLBB Advisors is deeply honored to be the second recipient of the William H. Hacker Business Spirit of Giving Award,” says Lawton. “Members of BLBB have been involved with the Phoebe Ministries Community for decades while managing the investment assets of the Wyncote Church Home. Brian Gallagher and I are proud to accept this award on behalf of the firm and our enduring partnership with Phoebe Ministries.”
BLBB Advisors and Rev. Moser were presented with their awards at the 2025 Phoebe Gala, which took place at Lehigh Country Club on October 16.
Phoebe’s yearly Gala offers a night of great food, fashion, philanthropy, and a reaffirmation of the organization’s passion for senior services.
