Residents of the Terrace at Phoebe Allentown have exciting things to look forward to, as new renovation plans were recently unveiled by Senior Vice President of Operations Rick Barley.
In a campus Town Hall, Barley, with the help of Executive Director Sandra Stiles and Independent Living Manager Mary Molloy, divulged new details on the changes coming to the Terrace.
Barley presented the new Terrace layout to residents, which includes a bold, modern vision for the facility that still feels like home.
Concept photos featured gorgeous accent lighting, glass entrances, new flooring materials, and fresh art pieces.
A new floor plan is proposed for the lower level of the Terrace, which will freshen up the downstairs space completely. There will be a renewed emphasis on social and recreation areas, making it more appealing for residents to spend time.
The construction process is estimated to begin around the Thanksgiving holiday as the team receives bids from subcontractors. General Contractor John Delfini is working with Phoebe to make the project happen.
These renovations will provide even more opportunities for the Phoebe community to get the most out of retirement.
“We are very excited about the upcoming Terrace changes,” says Stiles. “The renovations will transform the space to allow for larger meetings, entertainment, social gatherings, and more. It’s bright, cheerful, and modern. It will truly enhance the look and feel of socialization at the Terrace.”
