On November 19, Phoebe Allentown hosted a Holiday Craft Bazaar, showcasing talent from Phoebe employees and local community members.
With items ranging from Christmas décor to crocheted blankets, hand-made clothes, stickers, pins, jewelry, and much more, creativity and Christmas spirit filled Moyer Hall.
Residents, staff members, and Allentown residents browsed each vendor’s creations, including a table filled with resident-made fall decorations.
In addition, two Terrace residents volunteered to cook and serve hot dogs from the adjacent kitchen. Another table offered peanut butter brownies and muffins, also made by residents of Phoebe.
The day ultimately reminded us about just how special handmade goods are while looking ahead to the holiday season. The Craft Bazaar brought some early holiday cheer to Phoebe Allentown, and helped to check gifts off some Christmas lists.
