We view aging as a spiritual journey, a time for new opportunities and a time for collecting the wisdom of the aged. We begin to harvest this wisdom by providing opportunities for reflection and sharing with persons of all ages. Worship, Bible Study and Life Review sessions provide opportunities for residents to discover wisdom and healing in their later years.
Specific services include:
Ecumenical worship opportunities
Daily devotionals and Bible study
Spiritual renewal programs
Bereavement and spiritual support groups
Various programs and workshops designed for pastors and congregations
Called to care — a training program for community volunteers
An Abiders program to provide a spiritual presence for individuals who are “actively dying”
