Phoebe Berks bid a bittersweet farewell to Independent Living Manager Robin Staudt on June 4 with a party celebrating her retirement.
Few people can say they helped run Phoebe Berks from the start like Staudt can. Staudt began her Phoebe journey in August of 1992 as the Administrative Assistant to the first Executive Director of Phoebe Berks, Rev. Chuck Galley. She served Phoebe Berks with grace and kindness ever since, becoming the Independent Living Manager in 2024.
Naturally, Staudt has developed a deep love and appreciation for the Phoebe Berks community. Her connection to residents is undeniable, and she remained committed to providing compassionate, quality care to all.
Staudt’s career is characterized by positivity, attentiveness, and efficiency. She has always made great efforts to respond respectfully to employee and resident concerns.
“Looking back on my 32 years at the Phoebe Berks campus, I built the foundation of my work ethic on providing servant leadership over an employee mindset,” says Staudt. “In retrospect, I am confident that I did my best to achieve this goal. I thank my fellow employees throughout the entire organization, but most of all the residents and employees on the Phoebe Berks campus for your support and friendship! I am not one to say goodbye, but ‘see you soon’ seems more appropriate as I remain hopeful our paths will cross again one day.”
Phoebe Ministries thanks Robin for her nearly 33 years of service, and we wish her the happiest of retirements.
