Two of Phoebe’s independent living communities, The Terrace at Phoebe Allentown and Phoebe Berks Village, recently unveiled updated apartment concepts. The renovated layouts now feature open-air kitchens with granite countertops, decorative back-splashes, and stainless steel appliances. Pendant lighting also was added to enhance the reconfigured dining room and living room spaces. Additional features including bathroom fixtures, paint colors, and flooring have also been updated to please more contemporary tastes.
“Today’s older adults want a more contemporary design,” says Roslyn Tuerk, Sales and Marketing Manager at Phoebe Berks Village. Tuerk reports an increase in requests for open floor plans. “Closed-in kitchens are no longer desirable to our clients. Updated kitchens have been our biggest request.”
Likewise, The Terrace at Phoebe Allentown is boasting a similar update to its studio apartments. “I’m happy we can do this for future residents,” says Antoinette Tranter, Manager of the Terrace. “The new layouts make the studio apartments appear so much larger. The living spaces can now be utilized much more effectively.”
Move-in incentives are available now on these renovated apartment styles in Berks and Allentown, but they won’t last long!
