Brynn Buskirk, Vice President of Marketing and External Relations, Receives Forty Under 40 Award

Allentown, PA – Phoebe Ministries Vice President of Marketing and External Relations Brynn Buskirk was among a group of business and community leaders selected as a 2019 Forty Under 40 award honoree. Lehigh Valley Business held an award ceremony to honor the winners on Thursday, April 11 at Bear Creek Mountain Resort.

Buskirk, currently 36, was chosen from the ”largest-ever class of Forty Under 40 award nominees” according to Lehigh Valley Business. Honorees were selected by a panel of five independent judges based on criteria including a commitment to business growth, professional excellence, and the community. The 2019 class of Forty Under 40 is made up of a driven and diverse group of business professionals from all over the Greater Lehigh Valley. These individuals are truly making an impact on the business community and making the region a great place to work and live.

A Phoebe employee since 2011, Buskirk began as Corporate Director of Marketing and Community Relations where she was responsible for directing Phoebe’s overall marketing and community relations efforts. She envisioned a marketing strategy and department structure that would embrace Phoebe’s historic legacy while serving the 21st century needs of the industry. Through her leadership, the marketing and community relations department has doubled in size and matured into one of the most well-regarded in the organization. In 2017 she was promoted to Regional Director of Marketing and Sales and was most recently promoted to Vice President of Marketing and External Relations in 2018.

Before her positions at Phoebe, she worked in several marketing and philanthropy roles including Lehigh University as the Assistant Director of Marketing, Lehigh Athletics and University Business Services where she developed the branding, marketing and sports venue website for the Stabler Arena and Hunterdon Healthcare System. Buskirk earned a Master of Arts in American Studies from Lehigh University and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Moravian College with a Bachelor of Arts in both English and Sociology where she was immediately hired as Assistant Director of Annual Giving and quickly promoted to Associate Director.
