Phoebe Allentown Celebrates Employee Award Winners

In February, Phoebe Allentown held an Employee Recognition Awards luncheon for staff members who have gone above and beyond for Phoebe. Awards recognize those who have been here for 10 to 45 years, presidential award winners, staff who embody Phoebe’s Faith In Action Values, and recent retirees.

Moyer Hall was transformed into an award ceremony venue with beautiful table decorations and lighting. Hosts Donna Schudel (Public Relations & Communications Specialist) and Joenel Torrillo (Health Care Center Administrator) welcomed each recipient to the front, where Phoebe’s Executive Team presented them with plaques.

After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed a delicious meal.  

Torrillo, who acted as event planner and host, explained, “This event is an excellent way of saying thank you to our staff for their hard work, contributions, and dedication to Phoebe. It is a reminder for us to continue to appreciate each staff member who practices our organizational values, and it helps us celebrate our staff achievements.” He went on to explain that he hopes to plan another award ceremony for Phoebe Allentown employees in the future.
