Phoebe Ministries a not-for-profit, Continuing Care Retirement Community, is seeking interested Physical Therapists to join our Therapy department on a per diem basis to work in our Wyncote campus.
B.S. or M.S. degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution offering training in this specialty, plus a supervised clinical internship of approximately 4 months to prepare for professional licensure; state licensure in Pennsylvania; CPR certification.
Through knowledge of Principles and Practices of Physical Therapy; effectiveness in assessing client needs and in providing care and support to various age groups; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; proven supervisory and leadership skills.
When educational requirements are met, no previous experience is necessary.
Organizes and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy program in skilled nursing, residential institution, outpatient clinic, or home health agency to restore function; prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part; and help the patient reach his maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his capabilities.
