Phoebe Richland is seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual to join our dedicated care team in our Community Life Department. This part time position assists with the planning, presentation and implementation of programs, daily activities and special events for our residents. The ideal applicant will possess superior communication and interpersonal skills, a high level of energy, creativity, and imagination, along with the desire to help our residents enjoy their days to the fullest. Prior experience working with an elderly population is preferred but not necessary.
Basic Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Skills: Moderate reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; knowledge of the social and psychological and recreational needs of the aging.
Experience: Prefer experience working directly with the geriatric population.
General responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for assisting with the implementation of group and individual activities; assisting with the completion of individual resident Life Stories; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries and requests from residents, staff personnel, etc. In return, Phoebe is pleased to offer a competitive benefits and starting wage, 401K savings plan and a pleasant work environment.
