Phoebe Wyncote, a premier Continuing Care Community providing skilled nursing, personal care and short term rehab is seeking a per diem Chaplain to work approximately 24 hours a week to support the spiritual needs of our residents, family members and staff at our Wyncote campus.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Responsible for conducting a variety of religious activities and providing for the spiritual needs of the residents and families; ministry with staff; volunteer development; mentoring CPE students; outreach to religious communities, and institutional advancement.
Preferred candidate will enjoy serving a diverse population with varied spiritual backgrounds and beliefs. Candidate will possess Master of Divinity or related degree, two units of CPE and ordination in United Church of Christ or closely related denomination/faith group required with three years’ experience in a pastoral ministry setting. Preferred eligible for certification by Association of Professional Chaplains or moving toward this goal. Phoebe offers competitive pay and retirement benefits.
