Phoebe Richland Chaplain Officially Licensed for Ministry

Andrea Lazicki, was officially licensed for ministry in the Penn Northeast Conference of the UCC at special services at Phoebe Allentown on September 22, and Phoebe Richland on September 30. Andrea has a background in physical therapy bringing holistic perspective to ministry with residents who need physical, emotional, and spiritual support. Scott Brooks-Cope, Director of Pastoral Care, stated, “It was a joy to celebrate the milestone of her licensing for ministry in the United Church of Christ in September. We are thrilled that after years of study and volunteering with us, she has now been hired to serve as our per diem chaplain at Meadow Glen at Phoebe Richland.”

Both services were meaningful to everyone present. At the Allentown service the Rev. Viginia Heimer, Pastor of Saint Peters Church preached, and the Rev. Joanne Marchetto, conference moderator, led the licensing service.  At Phoebe Richland, the Rev. Dr. Alan Kramer-Moyer, former Vice-President for Pastoral Care Services at Phoebe, preached and led the licensing service.

Andrea is currently serving as chaplain for Meadow Glenn along with Rev. Jaime Moyer, staff chaplain at Phoebe Richland.
