Sheila Boyer, RN was appointed Director of Nursing for Phoebe Berks Health Care Center in Wernersville. In this position she is responsible for managing and organizing the clinical operations of the nursing department and ensuring the department’s compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

Previously, Boyer served as the Clinical Nurse Supervisor at Phoebe Berks and has worked at the skilled nursing community since 1998. A resident of West Lawn, Boyer graduated from Alvernia University with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing.

Melissa Oley, BSW, was appointed Director of Admissions for Phoebe Berks Health Care Center in Wernersville. In this position she is responsible for the census management to include admissions and marketing for the Phoebe Berks Health Care Center, Short-Term Rehab, Personal Care, Personal Care Memory Support and the Adult Day Center.

Previously, Oley was a Social Worker at Phoebe Berks Health Care Center where her responsibilities included meeting the psychosocial needs of residents in the health care center and discharge planning for short term residents. A resident of Mohnton, Oley earned a Bachelor’s of Social Work with a minor in Gerontology from Alvernia University.
