Skilled Nursing Week 2021

In 1967, the American Health Care Association (AHCA) began honoring skilled nursing care centers by establishing National Skilled Nursing Care Week (NSNCW).

Celebrated for an entire week, starting on Mother’s Day, this is a way for organizations and the community to recognize residents, staff, and family members of continuing care and assisted living communities.

The 2021 theme for NSNCW is “Together Through the Seasons.” According to the ACHA website, “the theme will honor the collaborative commitment of skilled nursing care facilities and their staff in providing compassionate care to their residents during this unprecedented time.”

Phoebe is thankful for the care and compassion of our employees towards our residents. The past year was a difficult one, but our employees were resilient. Phoebe has special treats planned for employees throughout all four campuses as a way of saying “thank you” for their hard work and dedication.

Be sure to say “Thank You” to Phoebe (and all other long-term care community) employees this week!
