Phoebe Ministries is engaging in an innovative partnership with LifeAire Systems, the proprietors of a cutting-edge medical-grade purification system, to filter and decontaminate the air that flows through the Phoebe Allentown Health Care Center.

Located in Allentown, LifeAire Systems’ advanced air purification technology was created to address air quality issues affecting In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) laboratories. This in-duct air purification system removes virtually all airborne chemicals and biological pathogens, and prevents the spread of airborne infection. In addition to being installed in more than 50 leading IVF labs in the U.S., the system is being used in operating rooms, intensive care units, neonatal intensive care units, and critical care areas within hospitals.

Phoebe Allentown was honored to be the first skilled nursing community to pilot LifeAire Systems’ groundbreaking technology through a research study.

As a result of this partnership, Phoebe is exploring ways to expand the LifeAire program throughout the Allentown Health Care Center. With this exciting program, Phoebe hopes to continue to advance a better way of caring for the health and well-being of seniors, and to follow the guidelines of their vision statement: “Inspired by our faith, we will lead the way with innovative services that promote fullness of life.”
