Phoebe Ministries Announces Staff Change

Wernersville, PA – Phoebe Ministries is pleased to announce the following change in staffing:

Debra Brophy Gogno, ARRT, MHA, NHA, was recently appointed Administrator of Phoebe Berks Health Care Center. Gogno is responsible for the overall operations of the 94 bed skilled nursing center, including the short term rehabilitation, memory support and long term care service lines. Gogno oversees all departments, fiscal management, strategic goal setting, human resources and staffing, materials management, quality of care, marketing, policy and procedure development and enforcement, new program development and customer service.

Previously, Gogno was administrator of HCR-ManorCare Health Services and was responsible for the leadership of a 227 bed skilled nursing facility in Bethlehem. Prior to that, she served as the Director of Patient Relations at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Pottsville.

A resident of Pottsville, Gogno graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from the University of Saint Francis, Joliet, IL. She is a licensed nursing home administrator and a Registered Radiologist Technologist.
