To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM) from September 15–October 15, Aramark announced the company’s annual HHM 30/30 Award winners. Tatiana Negron, Aramark employee and manager of Housekeeping Services at Phoebe Allentown, was one of the winners of this national award!
Phoebe Ministries has partnered with Aramark for over 25 years, employing Aramark staff for housekeeping and maintenance services. Since 1994, Aramark has been a sponsor of Phoebe’s signature fundraising events, including the Golf Tournament and the Phoebe Institute on Aging Benefit.
Every year during HHM, Impacto, Aramark’s Hispanic and Latinx Employee Resource Group, recognizes 30 team members from across the country. The HHM 30/30 program recognizes individuals for their commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment that encourages workforce engagement and creates memorable consumer engagement, all a staple of Aramark’s mission and values.
Kelly Bock, Director of Environmental Services at Phoebe, is excited about Tatiana receiving this recognition. “The last two plus years have been crazy! Tatiana has been steadfast in her commitment not only to Aramark and Phoebe, but to our management team. Lots of hours, lots of firsts, and lots of crazy. I always say I have the best team in Aramark, and Tatiana is one of our superstars. I personally could not have survived without her on my team. I am so excited for Tatiana and this amazing recognition for all her hard work.”
Tatiana was nominated for this award by Kelly. While the award is normally presented at an annual in-person conference, this year, the conference was held virtually.
Thankful to receive this award, Tatiana comments that “I always feel that I still have to learn a lot of things. I am really appreciative of receiving this award, but it is only possible with the continued support and inspiration from this environment and the EVS (Environmental Services) team.”
