It’s now broadly understood that brain health is just as important as physical health. BrainHQ, a brain training program from Posit Science, features online exercises proven to sharpen cognitive skills in people over the age of 60. In fact, a recent study of BrainHQ users, conducted by the Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality (AHRQ) and the National Institute of Aging (NIA), showed both improved mobility and a reduced fall risk. Over a period of 10 weeks, participants in the study were involved in either Posit Science’s computer-based cognitive training or in measurement-only control group. The study showed improved mobility and balance for those who used the program.
