Phoebe Institute on Aging Interfaith Caregiving Conference Educates over 200

Over 200 people attended the Phoebe Institute on Aging Spring Conference, which focused on enhancing professional caregivers’ understanding of cultural and religious differences. This was the second year the spring conference was held at Temple Beth El in Allentown and featured an interfaith theme.

Keynote addresses were given by Rev. Eric J. Hall and Rev. George Handzo, both of Healthcare Chaplaincy, Inc., a multi-faith, non-profit organization that has been caring for the human spirit for 52 years.

Claudia Richan, Community Health Specialist from the Bethlehem Health Bureau, attended the conference and commented, “This conference was fabulous! It was very worthwhile, enjoyable, and informative. Thank you!”
