Mitch Possinger is the president and founder of Cura Hospitality, a provider of contract dining services to 38 senior living communities and hospitals. A graduate of Muhlenberg College and Lehigh University.
Starting his career in food service as a teenager by working at a family-owned dairy and food vending company, Mitch went on to serve as his college fraternity’s steward. After graduation from college in 1977, he rose to the rank of regional sales manager at ARA Services in 1983 and then to Executive Vice President of Operations at The Wood Company in 1992. In 1996, he founded Cura Hospitality and assisted in the founding of Parkhurst Dining Services.
A committed volunteer, Mitch serves on the Boards of Directors of Muhlenberg College, Phoebe Ministries, and Presbyterian SeniorCare Foundation. He received Phoebe Ministries’ Deaconess Award, the Association of Fundraising Professional’s Corporation of the Year Award and the ELCA NEPS “Love in Action Award.” In his professional capacity, he also serves on the Boards of Directors of Eat’n Park Hospitality Group.
A father of three children, Mitch is married to The Rev. Jami Possinger, an ordained minister who serves a local parish. He and his family live in Schnecksville, PA.
