We have a Mission
Phoebe Berks Health Care Center Auxiliary is an offshoot of the original auxiliary founded at Phoebe Allentown. This organization remains linked to the entire Phoebe Ministries mission and ministry, but the main concern is for the residents of the Phoebe Berks Health Care Center.
In the brief history of Phoebe Berks Health Care Auxiliary, over $200,000 has been raised to assist in the care and comfort of the health care residents.
A volunteer recognition brunch is held annually. Additional special events are scheduled throughout the year.
An executive board meets monthly. The board is comprised of the elected officers, appointed committee chairs, the health care administrator, volunteer coordinator, and the Activities/Volunteer director.
Where do you fit into the picture?
As a volunteer — you can help by transporting residents around the facility, assisting with their activities, working in The Village Gift Shoppe or just spending time with residents.
As an advocate — you care about people and are a vital link between Phoebe Berks and the community. You can help spread the word about our services, and bring back suggestions for ways we can better serve our churches and community.
As a fundraiser — your membership dues support various activities of the Auxiliary throughout the year. The auxiliary purchases equipment and furnishings to improve the lives of our residents.
Membership Levels
Membership is open to anyone who is interested in the support and promotion of Phoebe Berks Health Care Center and who pays annual dues.
Annual dues are applied on a calendar year basis beginning January 1st.
