Phoebe Ministries Announces Staff Changes

Allentown, PA – Phoebe Ministries is pleased to announce the following changes in staffing:

Wendy WilliamsWendy Williams, MS, PHA, LPN was appointed Administrator of the Personal Care Community at Phoebe Wyncote. She is responsible for the overall health, safety and well-being of the personal care residents as both administrator and licensed nurse. She also assists in managing Phoebe Wyncote’s independent living program.

Prior to her appointment, Williams was Director of Operations at Caremore House Home Care Services in Philadelphia where she was responsible for the 24 hour a day home care agency operations that service four residential houses for consumers over 60 and with traumatic brain injuries. A Claymont, Delaware resident, Williams graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse from the Presbyterian Medical Center School of Practical Nursing and was certified as a Personal Care Home Administrator in 2011. She received a Master of Science in organizational Development and Leadership from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Williams is currently pursuing an advanced graduate studies degree in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Wendy OrzechWendy Orzech, RN, NHA was appointed Director of Nursing for the Phoebe Berks Health Care Center in Wernersville. In this position she is responsible for managing and organizing the clinical operations of the nursing department and ensuring the department’s compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

Previously, Orzech was Director of Nursing for Kindred Healthcare in Reading and served as a nursing consultant at LW Consult, Inc. in Harrisburg. A resident of Sinking Spring, Orzech graduated from the Reading Area Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science and Nursing and from the Lebanon Career and Technical Center as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She completed the nursing home administrators course in 2013.

Darren Morris High RezDarren Morris was appointed Director of Admissions for Phoebe Allentown, including admissions for the health care center and for the David A. Miller Personal Care Community. Darren brings with him almost 12 years of experience helping families make the transition from home to long-term living. In this role he is responsible for managing and organizing the Admissions department and overseeing all aspects of the admissions process including moving prospective inquiries through the admissions process to residency. A resident of Easton, Morris was most recently Director of Admissions for Easton Health and Rehabilitation Center, a community of Reliant Senior Care. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University.
