The Phoebe Institute on Aging Offers Workshop on Alzheimer’s Disease and the Gospel

The Phoebe Institute on Aging will hold a free pastoral care workshop with Dr. Benjamin Mast on Wednesday, November 4 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Jordan UCC, 1837 Church Rd, Allentown. Registration and continental breakfast will begin at 8:00 a.m.

Dr. Mast will focus this workshop around the topic of his book Second Forgetting: Remembering the Power of the Gospel during Alzheimer’s Disease (2014 Zondervan). Dr. Mast is a licensed clinical psychologist, board certified geropsychologist, and Associate Professor and Vice Chair in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Louisville.

This is a free workshop but registration is required by October 26. Call 610-794-5119 to register. Pastoral care continuing education hours will be available to chaplains at no cost.
