Phoebe's Faith in Action Film Wins National Documentary Award

Phoebe Ministries’ Faith in Action video won a national Videographer “Award of Excellence” in the Religious/Documentary category of the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals 2010 competition. There were 1,800 entries from throughout the United States and several countries. The highest award presented is the “Award of Excellence.” 

“The Award of Excellence was awarded to those projects the judges deemed were written, produced, shot and edited in an exceptional manner. Approximately 14 percent of the entries won this award. The film was created by The Media People, Alburtis, PA.

Phoebe’s Faith in Action honors the diversity of all employee faiths and spiritual backgrounds. It is a behavior and purpose-driven initiative recognizing that all employees need to work toward a common purpose and in an appropriate manner.

The video highlighted the initiative and ways in which employees put their faith in action every day. One example was a physical therapist who recalls the following story:

“I had a resident who was failing health-wise. He wanted to see The Messiah performed at his church. He had gone every year in the past but he wasn’t driving anymore. I was able to pick him up, assist him since he was on oxygen and take him into the church. That is just one example of how we help our residents just to enhance their lives a little.” The Videographer Awards is an international competition designed to recognize excellence in Video Productions, TV Commercials/ News/ Programs and New Media. The mission of the Videographer Awards is to provide meaningful recognition to hard-working, creative companies, individuals and their clients. Entries are judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), an organization that consists of several thousand marketing, communication and video professionals.
