Abiders Program

The Abiders Ministry trains individuals to provide a spiritual presence to persons who are identified as "actively dying" during the last days and hours of their earthly lives. Abiders are volunteers trained to sit at the beside of a dying person, reading scripture or poetry, offering prayer, playing soft music, or simply holding the dying person's hand. A three session training program is offered at different times throughout the year.
