Clinical Training & Field Study
Phoebe communities serve as clinical training settings for students in Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), licensed practical nurse (LPN) and registered nursing (RN) programs at area schools, including Bethlehem Area Vo-tech, Lehigh Carbon Community College, Reading Area Community College, Cedar Crest College, Alvernia College and Penn State Lehigh Valley. If you are interested in a nurse training program, please contact one of the educational institutions listed above. Phoebe does not provide training or refresher courses.
Phoebe's Pharmacy Services Department serves as a clinical training site for PharmD students of Wilkes College, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Phoebe Allentown Health Care Center is a clinical rotation site for medical residents of Lehigh Valley Hospital. Students in psychology (at the master's or doctoral level), business, communications, nutrition, and many other disciplines, including information technology, will also find opportunities for field work, internships and special projects in Phoebe communities.
